I found mr young so pleasant to talk to about my knee with time to listen And surgery went well for my meniscectomy which I’d been putting off for a long time because I was worried but it all went smoothly thanks to mr young And I found all the staff i see in the hospital were very nice and yes I’d definitely use mr young and KIMS hospital again if I need anything done

From consultation to operation I can not fault one thing. My youngs secretary was a lovely lady and extremely helpful. Mr Young took his time to review scans and investigate the issues I was having with my knee. I can’t thank him enough for giving me my working life back I would absolutely recommend My young and his team.

James Young was professional, honest and reassuring in my partial knee operation from the beginning to end of the whole procedure. Tess McClelland, Mr Youngs PA, was particularly helpful throughout the pre op and post op procedure. When my other knee needs the same operation I will have no hesitation in using Mr Young and his team again.

Mr Young was one of the best surgeons I have ever seen, not only in terms of his surgical expertise but also his polite and pleasurable consultations. He gave me very clear information pre and post op which made me feel very confident I was in safe hands. I am due for further knee surgery and will look forward to being a patient of Mr Youngs again. I would also like to thank all of Mr Youngs team, especially his secretary Tess McClelland who was so helpful throughout my time as a patient of Mr Young.

Mr James Young was my surgeon of choice when I needed an orthopaedic referral. From start to finish he was so charming, calming and reassuring as I headed for a partial knee replacement. Tess fielded my pre op concerns and questions and always came back to me very promptly with a reply. Everything was patiently explained regarding pre and post op care and my nursing care at the Nuffield was exemplary. I have made an excellent recovery and have now been discharged by Mr Young at 6 weeks post op. When my other knee needs the same operation I now have the greatest confidence and fewer fears than I had with my first knee. I cannot recommend James Young highly enough. My care throughout was faultless. He should be very proud of his team and his outstanding expertise. Thank you all.
